Come out and get your Nelson’s Chicken.

The Syracuse Boy Scout Troop 728 and the Syracuse/Wawasee Rotary Club will host a Nelson’s Chicken fundraiser on Saturday, May 26th at Casey's General Store in Syracuse.  Help send boys to summer camp and enjoy not having to cook on Memorial Day weekend! Pre sale tickets are available at The Papers in Syracuse or Hursh Insurance Agency.

United Way @ Rotary

Today's speaker for our weekly lunch meeting was Darren Bickle with United Way. We went through a budgeting excise  (pictured below). We had to figure out how we were going to spend our candies/money. This exercise helped us to understand many families are working, yet still require assistance with the cost of living.   This is especially true for families with younger children.

Tree Planting Day

On Saturday 4-21-18 Syracuse Wawasee Rotary Club worked with the Syracuse Parks Department to plant  new trees at Laudeman Family Park. Pictured below are all the various groups who helped, including: The Parks Department, The Lions Club, The Gardening Club, The Boy Scouts, and Rotary Club.
